I found my way into the ABA field in an effort to learn the skills needed to be a better mom in a single parent household and ended up falling in love with it. My favorite thing about ABA is seeing the results of all the pieces coming together, from the BCBA’s carefully designed programs that so specifically fit the child’s individual needs, to the efforts I put in, and landing on the progress the child makes. I absolutely love photography and stay physically active outside of work, going on adventures and exploring with my kids.

I first became interested in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) after a series of personal and academic experiences that ignited my curiosity about human behavior and learning. During my time attending school, I took a psychology course that introduced me to the basic principles of behaviorism. At the time, I was fascinated by how behavior could be understood, predicted, and influenced by environmental factors. This sparked my interest in pursuing a career that fell in line with my desire to Teach children.

My passion started early in life while taking care of a close friend’s brother, this sparked my interest in learning more about autism and other disorders. I was led to Devereux by a close friend and spent 3 years on campus and group homes with ages 4-67. I have since spent several years of working directly with adults and children with autism and behavioral challenges in various group homes to further understand the community dynamics and challenges they face directly. I am experienced in implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) interventions to promote skill development, reduce maladaptive behaviors, and support social and communication growth. I am extremely passionate about creating a safe, fun, supportive, and structured environment to help children achieve their full potential. I strive to demonstrate strong collaboration with families to ensure consistent and effective treatment outcomes.
